Rihanna- B*tch Better Have My Money
Rihanna spice’s things up a bit with her new single “B*tch Better Have My money,” produced by Roc Nation label mate’s Deputy and Kanye West. B*tch Better Have My Money is said to be a reference of 1991 AMG album and song name.
The catchy drill beat and raw lyrics makes it easy for Rihanna to live up to her title “Good girl gone bad.” On this track she snarls as she sings “Don’t act like you forgot, I call the shots….” Portraying an aggressive side but still keeping it sexy she remains an f*ck’n lady while letting you know not to “call her on her bluff.”
On Wednesday night Rihanna posted what appeared to be artwork for her new single, which caught her devoted fans attention. She posted the artwork with a teasing release date, #March26 with the hashtags #R8, which was used to represent her highly anticipated eighth album and #BBHMM, which was found to be the acronym of her new single title,B*tch Better Have My Money.
This record follows up behind “FourFiveSeconds,” Rihanna’s debut single which peaked at No.4 on Billboard’s Hot 100 charts. In a MTV interview Rihanna makes it known that she is back from her two to three year hiatus and she has something new with her: a different musical approach. “I find that when I get on stage now, I don’t want to perform a lot of my songs because they don’t feel like me. So I want to make songs that are timeless,” she said.
With all of her devoted fans there is no need to question if the Navy approves of this new approach she’s taken. With back up from her Navy or standing alone one thing remains the same, #BBHMM, B*tch Better Have Her Money!
