Dr. Dre Ft. Kendrick Lamar & Jeremih "2nite"
Dr Dre hasn’t released his own album in years- since 1999 to be exact. But, he has been busy producing numerous songs for many other artists including Eminem, Mary J.Blige and The Game. In 2002, he was featured on Kendrick Lamar’s album “The Recipe” and they have teamed up again for Dre’s latest song “2Nite.” This one also features Chicagoan, Jeremih. But it has been received with mixed reviews. Some are happy that Dre has finally released a song, but others say it sounds old, that the song was leaked accidentally and maybe it would have been a hit when it was first produced. The laid back love song has Dre speaking about a girl that he is feelin and Kendrick doing likewise, with Jeremih referencing The Roots and Erykah Badu’s “You Got Me” in the chorus. Is this song a hit and indicative of the great beats the Dre is known for, or one that should have remained unleaked? You be the judge.
