Jazmine C. Presents Throw it Back Thursday: Destiny Child's: Bug A Boo

This week’s Throw Back Thursday is dedicated to the international icon Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as her fans blew up social media this week because of Beyoncé’s “exclusive announcements.” The Bee-Hives waited patiently for the BIG announcement that Beyoncé was presenting on Good Morning America this past Monday. Some fans guessed that the singer may be pregnant with her second child or announcing an upcoming tour or album. The much-anticipated announcement upset viewers when she stated that she is becoming a vegan. The R&B singer with the beautiful, perfect body is making fitness plans, but that didn’t stop the Bee-Hives from blowing up Tweeter and Instagram as they post pictures of Beyoncé eating cheeseburgers or commenting on her pictures by using food emoji’s. So this Throw Back Thursday will be a song that turned Beyoncé into the legendary performer that she is, Destiny’s Child’s “Bug A Boo” because of how she bugged us by making us wait for this non-important news. We still love you Queen B. Maybe her fans will follow her on this fitness journey as they may lose weight as well.

“Bug A Boo” came from the group’s second album The Writings on the Wall. The album was released in 1999. The song made it to number thirty-three on the Billboard Hot 100. Internationally, the song made it to the top ten of the charts in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. The song is still popular and relates to today’s social environment as ladies get tired of men harassing them for phone numbers. For future reference to men, if a lady says she is not interested, please leave her alone. Do not rebuttal or be rude by leaving a negative remark. Just be a man and walk away.
