The Game "100" ft Drake
A dope vocal sample, a laid back vibe, true to life lyrics and a real rapper, usually make for a hot single-and this time is no different. The Game’s “100” off of what we can assume is his Documentary 2 album, features Drake and lays Peabo Bryson’s “you wanted me to love you” lyrics from his song “Feel the Fire” underneath. This collaboration makes for a smooth anthem dedicated to all the fake ass n*ggers. Produced by Cardo & Johnny Juliano, the former G-Unit Member goes hard against those he looked out for when they needed him and “how soon they forget”. Drake sings the chorus in a dry, disgusted. fed up tone that lends itself perfectly to this one. He then goes in on the ones who only want him to be fake and how he would have many more friends if he never spoke the truth. The Game and Drake's message for those who lie to their face and hate on their success is simple: D'ont come around.
“All I ever asked is 100….
“Y’all better not come to my studio with that fake shit
Y’all better not come to my funeral with that fake shit
Y’all better off realizing there’s nothing that y’all can do with me
All I ever asked is for you to keep it 8 more than 92 with me”
