Harlem X Philly Take Over Chicago
When it rains, it pours, and that is what happened the day of the DipSet and State Property Reunion concert. But the rain didn’t stop the show. Chicago fans slowly, but surely, made their way to the UIC Forum, Friday night, September 18th as they filled up the stadium chanting DipSet.
The upcoming act was Chicago’s very own SMG Squad and they proceed to take over the stage and perform their new record “Make Me a Believer.”
Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Cam’Ron and Freaky Zeek brought a special guest to perform with them-which was one of Chicago’s favorite rappers, Lil Herb. The crowd went crazy over how the Harlem natives respect Chicago’s own and the new drill music.
As DipSet exit the stage after performing “DipSet,” “Oh Boy” and “We Fly High,” State Property, Beanie Sigel and Neef Buck finished with an outstanding performance that left Chicago residents joyful as they sung along to their favorite songs that brought back memories.
After the show was over and everyone parted ways, Saturday afternoon found DipSet members—Cam’Ron and Freekey Zekey- showing support to Mase, the Owner and co- founder of Rich Boy Cartel apparel. They left Chicago to go back to Harlem to show their hood the new and upcoming fashion that will hit nationwide.
