Rapper Kevin Gates Sentenced to 180 days in Jail!
We all might remember the incident last August which involved Kevin Gates and a fan. Kevin Gates was accused of kicking 19 year old Miranda Dixon at Lakeland's Rumors Nightclub where he performed last year. Kevin Gates was charged and convicted of battery and sentenced to 180 days in jail. A Polk County jury found Gates guilty and he was immediately taken in to custody. Rappers wife Dreka Gates has taken to social media her frustration with the verdict. Gates wife believes her husband was violated and indeed protecting himself from the accuser. She also states that this isn't over. Sounds like Gates and their attorney will be filing an appeal. Either way the rappers career will be stagnated for the next 6 months. I hope this incident doesn't cause fans to fear attending his show. Better yet I hope this leads fans to understand don't touch the rappers lol.
