Hitmaka catches another hit with Lil Marlo's hot new single "Soakin Wet" feat. City Girls & OffSet". Marlo's boss street vocals are right in pocket with the chill, summer trap beat making this record a crowd favorite. The song is all about money, clothes, cars, and sex in the midst of each artist adding their own flair to the track.
Marlo makes sure to stress the importance of longevity in the music business. Rolling Out reports a quote from Marlo saying "I'm really just using the same energy that I used int he streets. And some things go on in the music world, you wouldn't tolerate in the streets. And some things go on in the streets, you can't tolerate in the music world. So now I'm just trying to learn it all. I'm not trying to be a one-hit wonder, I'm trying to be here forever."
The Soakin Wet track is produced by OG Parker who captured a steamy vibe that brags about being an expensive pleasure. According to Hot New Hip HoP, Quality Control Music's CEO Pee is one of Marlo's greatest supporters. "Marlo's been in development with QC these past two years and this summer is when people will really see his incredible talent. He is one of my favorite artists and he's speaking that real sh*t," he said. Looks like the 2019 Summer is Lil Marlo's and now he has received even more confirmation.
