Breaking News: Meek Mill Is Now The Co-Owner Of Lids

Just yesterday, Lids announced that multi-platinum hip hop artist Meek Mill is releasing an exclusive hat line with Lids that will debut in their store in August of this year.
On top of that, Meek Mill is now a co-owner of Lids as well!

Meek broke the news in a recent interview with Business Insider. Mill, whose real name is Robert Williams is the lead for the company's creative strategy.
In his interview with Business Insider, Meek Mill stated the following:
"He's just a different type of guy. He's about his business. He's never late, he's on point. He's checking on his business every chance he gets. Basically, I've seen Jay-Z, and then I've watched other artist who came up around his time. He actually built something, He built businesses, and he built things that made him become the man who he is, that we could call a billionaire guy. He built that, and I watched that and I studied that. That's why I'm working the way I'm working now to build a foundation for myself too."
This collaboration with Lids is definitely a step in the right direction when it comes to modeling the business acumen of Jay-Z. Congrats to Meek Mill!
