Rick Ross's "Port of Miami 2", The Boss Does It Again
He’s definitely the biggest boss that you’ve seen thus far and he’s back with his tenth studio album titled, “Port of Miami 2.” Ross pays homage to his manager and friend Black Bo who passed away in 2017 on his album cover as well. "Port of Miami 2" comes 13 years later since his debut album, “Port of Miami” and one year later since his major health scare in 2018. Ross is back with hits like, “Summer Reign” featuring Summer Walker and “White Lines” featuring Dej Loaf.
The 15 track sequel to “Port of Miami” was released on August 9 and features a host of many other talented artists such as Ball Greezy, YFN Lucci, Denzel Curry, Wale and more. Another vibe on the new album is track number 13, “Vegas Residency” and track number 14, “Maybach Music VI” featuring John Legend and Lil Wayne. Apparently Pusha T was supposed to be on the track, but his verse ended up being removed. That’s a whole other can of worms that won’t be opened on this post, but just to let it be known that it is “deeper than rap.”
However, getting back to this fire album, a catchy line in “Maybach Music VI”Rozay says is, “They call it the road to riches, regardless I had to walk.” Whoo! If you haven’t copped “Port of Miami 2” already, do so immediately. While you’re at it, hit up your local Wingstop and don’t forget to “lemon pepper yo wings.”
