Megan Thee Stallion Wins Her First VMA
It's a hot winning summer for Megan Thee Stallion as she brings home her first VMA award for Best Power Anthem for "Hot Girl Summer". "Oh my GODDD!!! I literally want to cry ! This is my FIRST VMAS, MY FIRST PRE SHOW PERFORMANCE, AND MY FIRST MOON MAN. thank y’all so much thank you to everyone who supports me I promise to keep leveling up," she adds on Twitter. The H-town hottie closed down the awards show before it even started.
Megan performed her single, "Big Ole Freak" in addition to her anthem and "Cash Sh*t" tonight on the VMA's pre-show stage. Although this was only the pre-show, she gave the crowd an energy as if she was closing the awards show. Some identify Megan Thee Stallion as the girl who came up with the famous catchphrase, "hot girl summer", but Megan proves and has shown that she is much more than a catchphrase. Her positive outlook on femininity and body positivity are just a few qualities that differentiate her. Megan is far from reserved when it comes to her outlook and opinions and the crowd is here for it. She is joining Future and Meek Mill on tour in addition to several other appearances and performances while studying Healthcare Admin in school.
