Billie Eilish Decides To Donate A Portion Of Her ATL Festival Earnings To Planned Parenthood
Before hitting the stage at Music Midtown, Bill Eilish made an announcement via Instagram story stating that she will be donating a portion of her "guarantee" earnings from the festival to Planned Parenthood Southeast. "ATLANTA. one of my favorite places in the world, to be in, and play shows!! but i do not love the state’s lawmaker’s decision to take away women’s rights. I still cannot believe we are even having this conversation in 2019," she wrote.
Eilish feels that we need the organization now more than ever. As part of the "Bans Off My Body" campaign, she joined over one hundred other artist in protesting laws restricting access to abortion. She continues to share her heart via Instagram story by encouraging her followers to swipe and learn more about the petition to stop laws against abortion. Furthermore, she encourages fans to donate any spare change to the organization and says that you can seriously help someone by doing so.
