Cardi B Opens Up About Sexual Harassment On Set
In an interview with WE, Cardi B opened up about an alleged sexual harassment incident with her photographer on set. "I will never forget how I went to shoot for this magazine and the photographer, he was trying to get close to me like, 'Yeah, you want to get in this magazine?' Then he pulled his dick out," I was so fucking mad, and it's just like, 'This is crazy," she says.
Although the #metoo movement is in full effect, Cardi B discloses that sexual harassment in the entertainment industry is still alive and well. After the photographer decided to get a little too close, Cardi went directly to the magazine owner immediately. What Cardi did not except was for the owner to look at her with no remorse or a care in the world. The owner responded to her saying, "So? And?"
Unfortunately, this act is nothing new to the industry and will continue to happen unless individuals truly make a change and stand up for respect.
When asked if this still happens at this point in Cardi's career, she answered, "Oh hell no. I'll put you on blast on my Instagram, I wish a n***a would."
